Would you burnout your star soccer player Lionel Messi or basketball player Lebron James, in preparation for the NBA Finals or the World Cup?

Of-course you wouldn’t, because you would risk their injury and lose the match when it count the most right? Exactly!

You should have the same mindset when it comes to your employees.  Their is no secret, that many accounting firms such as the big four, have a high turnover rate. I have many friends and colleagues who worked in these establishments and they loved everything about the culture, except for the constant late hours. As a result, they jumped ship in effort to find a career or organization that has more of a work life balance.

I read an article recently that stated that “50% of employees across professions, from the nonprofit sector to the medical field — are burned out”

ROI Of Employee Burnout:

  1. Obesity rate rises
  2. Absenteeism increases
  3. Productivity declines
  4. Unhappy staff
  5. Unhappy customers
  6. Managers, employees & customers loses – They are no winners

Past staff members of the above firms, often said that a vacation often did the trick to help them re-calibrate themselves to go back in the office refresh and ready to tackle their task with enthusiasm. While on vacation, you want to make sure and unfold unique and memorable experiences, like scenic tours, working out, ocean activities and more.

Avoid burnouts by #Maximizing your vacation experience.
